R Hancocks Watch & Clock Ltd is a watch repair company based on Warstone Mews in Birmingham. Their services are delivered by fully trained staff and watchmakers who have years of experience in workmanship for watches, clocks, and other timepieces. This is maintained by their stringent requirements in hiring craftsmen for their company’s professional membership.

Their shop is a family business that was started over 60 years ago by Master Watchmaker Roy G Hancocks. He has had extensive experience in working for well-known watchmaker brands such as the Swiss companies George Bouverat and Piaget. He also served at the War Office in London to repair army-issued watches from brands like Rolex, Jaegar Le Coultre, IWC, Omega, and Longines.

As he set up his own business, he also trained apprentices who soon became watchmakers by their own right. Today, the shop is run by Michael Styles, Hancock’s stepson who also trained under him. He has been in the craft for over 25 years and continues to uphold Roy Hancock’s legacy in watchmaking.

Their shop undertakes repairs for a multitude of pieces including pocket watches, antique clocks, and jewellery. A few of the services they offer are watch strap replacement/adjustment, battery replacement, glass replacement, and crown replacement.  Their business is registered with the British Horological Institute and all their repairs have a 1-year guarantee, assuring you nothing but topnotch quality service.
