The business was started by his late father, Don Midwinter, a master cobbler who had used traditional methods in repairing shoes and passed these down to Dale. Today, Dale continues his father’s legacy by serving the community with Classic Shoe Repair’s signature shoe repair services. He is passionate about offering friendly customer service and long-lasting repairs for competitive prices. He also deeply believes in recycling footwear so he does his best to get every shoe repaired to the best condition.

Today, Classic Shoe Repairs also offers engraving, key cutting, car key programming, and specialist repairs & alterations for many leather goods like bags, briefcases, and jackets.

Their specialty shoe repairs only use traditional methods such as stitching instead of stapling soles; this helps improve the durability of shoes and avoids damaging floors and carpets. For their key cutting, they are able to cut commonly used locks like cylinder, mortice, and padlock keys along with vehicle keys and transponder keys. Lastly, they can also engrave on numerous surfaces such as trophies and pet tags using their modern engraving machines.
